Greens Wood Products is proud to offer 3 styles of railing for your deck, porch, loft and staircases. A traditional style with a top and bottom rail with spindles in between, also a double top rail gives homes a very different look. We have just recently added a squqre rail to our line. the traditional and double top rail have a very distinct hand hewned look and can be sanded for a more delicate look. The square rail goes well in any home and many of our customers decorating more contemporary like it especially. All of our railings are made of northern white cedar. It is perfect for either outdoor or indoor construction. it is dimensionally stable and easy to handle. studies have shown that cedar has natural persatives in the wood fibers that make it one of the most decay resistent and insect tolerant woods. It requires little maintence and displays a beautiful grain. Our spindles and top and bottom rails have 11/2 inch tenons that are 2 inches long. This builds a very strong section of rails. All of our railings is custom designed and manufactured to fit your project. Our years of experience will help you design and plan your railing project. Posts, rails and spindles can be sold as a complete system or we can also provide you with only component parts. Whatever your plans are we can assist you.
